Gungahlin's Nature Reserves

There are four main types of habitat in Gungahlin. These are Natural Temperate Grasslands, Yellow Box – Red Gum

Grassy Woodlands, Brittle Gum Dry Forest, Wetlands. Click on the habitats to find out more. For each habitat there is

a nature hunt that you can print to take with you when you visit these areas. (Coming soon!)

Natural Temperate Grasslands and Yellow Box-Red Gum Grassy Woodlands are both very important as they are endangered

ecosystems and are habitats for endangered plants and animals.
