Bush on the Boundary

The ‘Bush on the Boundary’ (BOB) Reference Group brings together representatives from a number of organisations spanning the government, community and business sectors, which all have an interest and a role to play in biodiversity conservation and management in the Gungahlin Nature Reserves and surrounding urban developments.

The group provides a forum for the exchange of information on biodiversity conservation and management in the nature reserves and nearby suburban areas.  It also provides coordinated support for participants’ new and existing projects and initiatives that assist the advancement of biodiversity conservation and management in the Gungahlin area, including research, monitoring, community engagement, education and on-ground projects.

 

Ginninderra Catchment Group

 The Ginninderra Catchment Group (GCG) is an umbrella group of community volunteers working in the water catchment of the Ginninderra Creek.

Canberra and the surrounding region has the richest bird life of any Australian capital city, and Canberra Ornithologists Group (COG) regards Mulligans Flat as one of the best bird-watching sites in the ACT, as it serves as a home and feeding place to around 167 native bird species.
