Reptiles and urban development

With urban development continuing to sprawl into natural areas it is obvious to see the damage to woodlands and grasslands. What about the inhabitants of these areas such as our reptiles that we don't see? What happens to them and can they survive in suburbs or on the fringe of suburbs?

Come and join this months Member Forum which will discuss the impacts of urban development and the effect it has on reptiles.

When: April 28th, 5:30 for 6pm

Where: Canberra Reptile Sanctuary, O'Hanlon Pl, Gold Creek Village, Nicholls.

Speakers: Dr Will Osborne (UC) - Reasearch on the Pink-tailed worm lizard in Molonglo and the impact of urban development on other reptiles

Dustin Welbourne (Chief Scientist, Canberra Reptile Sanctuary (Inc) ) - Will speak and show us around the sanctuary.

As this is a special forum and places are limited so please register your interest before April 21.
